A Guarda has available car parking areas, all of them are public and free, and are set in:
- Rosalía de Castro Street (Campo de Finola)
- Brazil Street
- A Sangriña scholar area, in the Paseo de Portugal
- Port Esplanade
- Campo da Canteira (at the beginning of the Littoral Walkway, at the port)
Some of the major commercial streets in the centre of town have BLUE ZONE. It means that are time restricted areas for parking, is still free to park there but the cars can only stay for one hour. It works Mon – Fri (24h) & Sat (until 12am). You can get the clock to indicate your arriving hour at the local shops and the Local Police Station (at Praza do Reló).
